Inclusive Design as a path to resiliency and growth

Inclusive design aims to intentionally build products and experiences that serve the full range and diversity of human experiences such as ability, age, culture, identity, and language. In this interactive workshop, you’ll discover how inclusive design must be both human-centered and a strategic driver for resiliency and growth. The workshop will explore how inclusive design can be applied to government services and strengthen their ability to develop holistic solutions to serve all citizens. You will apply practical tools and methods – leaving the session with a better understanding of how to identify sources of bias, analyze situational traits, how to define and prioritize interventions, and how to make a customer-centric business case to demonstrate the value of inclusive design in your organization.

  • Learn the basic and fundamental concepts of inclusive design
  • Apply practical methods to identify and communicate root causes and implications of exclusionary design to a wide range of stakeholders
  • Understand how to create a business case for inclusive design as a path to resiliency in the face of uncertain economic times for your organization
