Krissi Xenakis

Krissi Xenakis is the Director of Product Design at Komodo Health, leading the design team to build data analysis experience to support their mission to reduce the global burden of disease. Also an educator, Xenakis teaches Advanced Interaction Design at the School of Visual Art’s (SVA) Products of Design MFA program.

Previously at IBM, she taught clients cloud-native design and development best practices and incorporated emerging technologies, such as AI, IoT, and Blockchain, across the globe. Before IBM, Xenakis was responsible for product design and brand as Head of Design at Shake Law, later acquired by LegalShield.

Xenakis received an MFA in Graphic Design from the Maryland Institute College of Art. Some of her past clients include ADP, Anthem, Citi, Duke Energy, GSK, IKEA, National Geographic Magazine, Vodafone, and Volvo.
