Dr. Johanny Pestalozzi is a professional UX & Human-Centred AI Interaction Designer, Researcher & Project Manager. Over the last 11+ years, she has worked across research, IT, nonprofit, and startup sectors. She is passionate about designing human-centred AI interactions, solving complex problems, and continuously accomplishing goals to deliver business value.

Pestalozzi holds a Ph.D. with a specialisation in Technological Risk Perception & Risk Governance from the University of Hohenheim in Germany, developing a thesis understanding factors that influence people's perception & acceptance of new technologies, and reflecting on sociotechnical requirements that surround technological developments. Risk perception contributes to societal demands on ethical AI, and it is essential for successful and people-centric innovations.
