Michal Rinott
Michal Rinott is an Interaction designer and a senior faculty member in the Shenkar – Engineering. Design. Art College in Tel Aviv. She is the founding director of the Kadar Design and Technology Center in Shenkar, a unique interdisciplinary research and teaching space exploring the meeting point between people and technology. Rinott’s work has been presented in major venues such as the Victoria & Albert Museum, Tel Aviv Museum of Art and Ars Electronica, as well as CHI and other international design conferences.
Michal has a master’s degree with distinction from the late Interaction Design Institute Ivrea, and an MA in Cognitive Psychology with special honors from Tel Aviv University. She is currently undertaking a (mid-career) PhD degree in Information Systems Engineering in Ben Gurion University, on the topic of Interpersonal Motor Synchronization.
