Wout Hermans is the Head of Customer Success in EMEA at Mural, a collaborative intelligence company supporting 95% of Fortune 100 enterprises. He led a seasoned team of customer success managers charged with directing workplace transformations at enterprises all over the region, with a special focus on the emerging skill of collaboration design. He has extensive experience in developing and managing C-level relationships with customers, and he is passionate about applying the latest technologies to solving customer pain points. As one of the company’s earliest hires in EMEA, Hermans was instrumental in growing several of Mural’s largest customers including IBM, SAP, Intuit, and more.
Previously, he was a senior consultant at IBM’s ‘Digital Agency’ iX, where he worked at the intersection of strategy, creativity, and technology to help clients such as KLM, Heineken and Shell digitally reinvent their businesses. Before that, He worked as a mechanical design engineer, product engineer, and innovation manager.
Hermans holds a Master of Science in Global Innovation Management from Aalborg University and the University of Strathclyde, as well as several licenses and certifications from IBM iX, AJ&Smart, and IDEO U. He is based in Amsterdam and is fluent in English, Dutch and has a good understanding of Portuguese.
