Think, Feel, Talk: Design and Medical Shared Decision Making
It is important to see medical decision-making as a dynamic human activity, rather than a transactional exchange of information or a way to convince people to do what healthcare would like them to do. Design and designers play a role in reminding healthcare of this truth and in creating environments to support people in this activity. We want to share the insights and stories from a series of events we designed and ran to help women navigate issues and decisions related to their heart health.
