Miya Osaki

Miya Osaki is a design leader, educator, and advocate for healthier systems and increasing care in our communities. With a background in Experience Design, she has over 15 years of consulting in healthcare, facilitating social design and research practices, managing teams, and collaborating with a cross-section of global and community organizations, educational institutions, nonprofit and government agencies, and tech startups. Her design practice is committed to more equitable approaches and healthy futures that benefit our communities. At the heart of her work is a passion for care, collaboration, and storytelling – and to leave the world a little better than she found it.


Miya Osaki currently lives, works, and plays in Brooklyn, NY. She is chair of MFA Design For Social Innovation at the School of Visual Arts in New York City.
